We have had a busy few months attending all of the local shows and fairs. From Rothbury Street Fair in May, the Music Festival, Powburn, Whittingham, Elsdon, Swarland, Harbottle, Ingram, Thropton to Alwinton, the last and the biggest of the shows we attended, we have spoken to nearly 800 people, visitors as well as local folk and our list of people to interview and contact has continued to grow. It was unfortunate that both Glanton Show and Simonside Fair succumbed to the weather but we are looking forward to taking part next year already.
The interviews are continuing to come in thanks to our volunteer team and there are nearly 20 to be completed over the next few weeks. They are being uploaded as fast as we can process them – watch out for more soon.
